Spring 2025 (4.0 Semester GPA)
In March of 2024, I had the wonderful opportunity of joining a select group of students from the Engineering program to tour a variety of facilities in San Francisco, California. Our group was offered guided walkthroughs of Apple Park, Apple's Product Realization Lab, Apple's Material Design Lab, Tesla's Fremont Factory, Navier's Headquarters, and Dolby Laboratories.
Navier has launched a cutting-edge hydrofoil water transit service in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering a faster, quieter, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional ferries. The sleek vessels glide above the water's surface, reducing congestion and carbon emissions.
Apple’s Product Realization Lab leverages advanced technologies like CAD, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping to accelerate the development of innovative products. This cutting-edge facility allows for quick iterations and precise design testing, streamlining the process from concept to final product.
Tesla’s Fremont factory is a cutting-edge hub of automation, where advanced robotics and automated systems drive efficiency in vehicle manufacturing. The facility features an extensive network of automated production lines that streamline assembly, painting, and quality control processes.
